The Grant Park Chorus joins the orchestra for a world premiere commission by Syrian-American composer Kareem Roustom, along with the U.S. premiere of Carl Vine’s Choral Symphony. The program also includes Beethoven’s spirited Symphony No. 8 and Sibelius’ Karelia Overture.

Puerto Rican Festival will bring the best of Puerto Rican restaurants, Artisanos, and traditions. This year the festival will add films, books, a college fair, a children’s area, a blood drive, DJ spotlights, and much more.
