Waubonsee Community College and Northern Illinois University (NIU) have established an articulation agreement that presents students with a step-by-step guide to a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Kinesiology is the study of how the human body works during exercise and how physical activities promote healthy living. People who study kinesiology are trained to help people live healthier lives through exercise, physical activity and nutrition. Students can begin their studies in kinesiology at Waubonsee with a clear path to an associate degree and then complete a bachelor’s degree at NIU.
