The Cook County Sheriff’s Police Training Academy and Triton College’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) are looking for older adults who want to volunteer for a new instructional program that helps police recruits refine their interviewing and report writing skills. Training for new volunteers for the Seniors Training Academy Recruits (STARS) program is Friday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. in Room R-221, located in the Robert Collins Center (R Building) on Triton’s east campus, 2000 5th Ave., River Grove.  The Senior Recruit Interview Day will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room R-221. Refreshments will be served on Thursday, Nov. 21, the day of the actual interviewing.
