In honor of October being Energy Awareness Month, ComEd will provide a free Home Energy Assessment. This offering is available year-round to ComEd customers to help them reduce their energy usage. During the energy assessment, an energy advisor will provide personalized recommendations identifying additional ways to save energy and money and may install the following products. On Thursday, Oct. 24, ComEd helped to make energy-saving upgrades at El Faro Mexican Restaurant, located at 3938 W. 31st St, Chicago, IL 60626, in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood following a free energy assessment the restaurant received earlier from ComEd.  During this installation, the restaurant will be upgrading its lighting fixtures to LED light bulbs, saving $536.90.
