Now, more than ever, Chicago Citywide Literacy Coalition (CCLC) is working hard for their adult learners to provide online resources more accessible for all. Education is more important now during the pandemic than ever before. With the Covid-19 lockdown in full swing in Illinois, CCLC is helping those succeed during their down time. The Coalition is putting out resources, professional development opportunities, and workforce updates during these uncertain times in Chicago and across the globe. Free online resources like Ed Tech Center World Education, Read Works Remote Learning Resources, Grammar Writing and Vocabulary, ESL Library, Khan Academy, Northstar Digital Literacy, and many more are working alongside CCLC promising the gift of education for all adult learners. Through their technology projects, low-scoring adults have been connected to critical apps and websites such as Chi311, MedlinePlus and the Center for Disease Control’s online resources.
