Communities In Schools (CIS) of Chicago, the largest dropout prevention organization in the city, has launched an innovative TeleSupport Program to help parents, students, and school communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The TeleSupport Program provides a help line for families at CIS partner schools in need of supportive guidance during this period of shelter-in-place regulations. Parents can contact the CIS TeleSupport line for assistance on a menu of items including: stress management, resources to support home-schooling of their children, balancing work and child-raising demands, child behavioral issues, and connection to a variety of resources. Support is available in English, Spanish, French, Hindi, and Kreyòl. Services are provided by CIS of Chicago’s experienced team of mental health experts.  For more information, www.cisofchicago.org.
