Saint Anthony Hospital Opening Pediatric During COVID-19

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Health

Saint Anthony Hospital has added a new option for parents to feel safe in keeping their child’s appointments and wellness checks that are needed before starting the new school year. Members of the community have been concerned about visiting hospitals during the pandemic, but certain physician appointments are important for people to continue during this time, including children’s immunizations and wellness checks.  In addition to offering something new for kids to make their appointment more fun, the outdoor space allows for increased social distancing and less exposure to other hospital patients and visitors. Located outside the main hospital with adjacent parking available, parents can drive up to the clinic tent and use their own car as a “waiting room”.  Saint Anthony Hospital Mascot Little Tony will escort kids to the tent when they are ready to be seen by the pediatrician.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, families can call 773.484.4030.
