Town President Larry Dominick, Dr. Willie Wilson and the Wilson Foundation hosted a “Uniting Our Communities for Prayer” at Community Park last Saturday. The event featured music, presentations and local officials including State Rep. Lisa Hernandez, Cook County Commissioner Frank Aguilar, and the Town of Cicero Board including Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Supervisor Joe Virruso, Collector Fran Reitz, Assessor Emo Cundari and Trustees John Cava, Larry Banks Victor Garcia and Bob Porod, and Democratic Committeewoman Blanca Vargas. Clergy Committee Chairman Ismael Vargas served as Emcee and attendees included congregations from all of the Town of Cicero’s Churches (Clergy Committee members) and Churches located nearby in Chicago.
