North Riverside Park Mall has unveiled an education-inspired 3D mural by local Chicago artist, Oxana Belka, in the mall’s upper level Center Court.  The mural, featuring beautifully painted animals in a unique learning setting, includes several 3D elements and was designed to encourage local students to explore and enjoy education. The mural was created by a local Chicago artist, Oxana Belka, whose distinct style explores rich colors to showcase a vast spectrum of feelings and emotions. It features several unique animal characters including Coco the Rabbit and an unnamed bear. North Riverside Park Mall is inviting students to help name the bear by participating in its “Name a Bear” contest. To enter, participants visit the mural and capture a photo with the bear. They are then instructed to post their photo on Facebook or Instagram with a suggested name and #NameABear and #NRPMall. The winning name will be selected on November 25 and added to the mural. The winner also receives a $100 mall gift card and giant teddy bear. For more information, visit www.northriversideparkmall.com.
