On December 9th, the Chicago City Council Latino Caucus Foundation (CLCF) announced 24 corporate, government and nonprofit leaders selected for its 2021 cohort. Fellows represent the City, County, and State levels of government as well as various business, corporations and community-based nonprofit organizations across Chicago. A full list of cohort members can be found at www.ccclatinocaucus.org/class-of-2021/. Founded by the CLCF in 2018, the Leadership Academy was created to further develop the next generation of public and private sectors leaders.

This leadership development initiative is the result of the Latino Caucus’ ongoing efforts, findings, and collaboration to improve Latino parity in both the public & private sectors. As Chicago’s Latino elected leadership, it is incumbent upon the Latino Caucus to make strides in achieving diversity and parity. The Fellows will begin a rigorous six-month program that will teach imperative leadership and management skills as well as offer one-on-one executive coaching by seasoned professionals who can provide necessary personalized feedback on their leadership style. The program kicks off in January 2021. To learn more about the Leadership Academy, please visit: http://www.ccclatinocaucus.org
