Saul Lopez is encouraging everyone to take the Polar Plunge this year. Each year the Chicago Polar Plunge musters up brave souls to plunge into the freezing Lake Michigan water, which benefits the Special Olympics Chicago, Special Children’s Charities. Although this year is virtual, anyone can participate. Lopez, who is a member of the Special Olympics Chicago Board, has assembled his Peoples Gas Team for the Chicago Polar Plunge, putting together a team of nearly 50 contractors and employees to help raise funds for the 7500 athletes of Special Olympics Chicago. The virtual Plunge takes place from March 1st-7th. To register, visit www.sochicago.org/chicago-polar-plunge/
