Hundreds gathered in support of immigrant legalization, essential workers, and fair wages last Saturday for May Day. For many at the protest it was a day for the City to focus on issues such as immigration and police reform, calling for immediate of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, protection for the five million undocumented essential workers during the pandemic, and accountability from President Joe Biden.
