It Takes a Village Family of Schools, in partnership with The Rana-Reagan Pharmacy, UI Health, Miles Square Health Center, and IMPACT, is hosting a community covid-19 vaccination clinic this Friday, May 21st from 4p.m., to 8p.m. The event will be held at Village Leadership Academy, located in the South Loop at 800 S Wells St. The two-shot Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has recently been approved for children ages 12-16. It Takes a Village (ITAV) will be providing this vaccination opportunity for students and families in this age bracket, as well as for community members and older individuals. Individuals do not need to be affiliated with ITAV or Village Leadership Academy to be vaccinated at this event. All covid-19 vaccines are offered at no cost to everyone; no insurance or ID required. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and provide a signed consent form.
