D99, Town of Cicero Bring Back In-Person Back to School Fair

As Cicero District 99 is preparing to welcome students for in-person learning this fall, Superintendent Dr. Aldo Calderin and the Board of Education are looking to kick off the upcoming school year on a positive note with the return of the District’s in-person Back to School Fair on Saturday, Aug. 14. From 10 a.m.-1 p.m., District 99’s free bash will be complete with activities for students and an opportunity for families to mingle with District administrators and teachers. Event highlights include:

● Free snacks, including hot dogs, popcorn and water (while supplies last)

● Free school supplies (while supplies last)

● Free dental exams

● Kids games and bounce houses

● Free smoke detectors distributed for Cicero residents

● Live music from District 99’s DJ Jerry and a special appearance from B96 DJ Gabe Ramirez

The fair will be held at Unity Junior High School (2115 S. 54th Ave., Cicero) and is hosted in partnership with the Town of Cicero, Cicero Police Department and Cicero Fire Department.
