Chicago is ready to embrace another large scale music festival that celebrates the explosive sounds to come out of Latino American pop, electro, and Spanish rock, Ruido Fest. Headlining acts at the 2021 edition (which returns to Union Park) include Argentine ska band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Mexican ska act Panteón Rococó and Mexico City alt-rockers Café Tacuba. Other highlights of the lineup include Venezuelan funk outfit Los Amigos Invisibles, Mexican indie rockers Little Jesus and Chicago’s very own singer-songwriter Kaina. Don’t let the language barrier scare you away from this three-day fest—even if you don’t speak Spanish, the assortment of genres represented is impressive and the grooves are universal.
