President Preckwinkle joins Cook County Health CEO Israel Rocha, Bureau of Asset Management Chief John Yonan and community leaders for a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the new Belmont Cragin Health Center on Wednesday at 5501 W. Fullerton Ave. Cook County Health held the ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new Belmont Cragin Health Center as part of its ongoing plans to expand care in Chicago and across suburban Cook County. The new health center replaces the health system’s Logan Square location and is twice the size. The health center provides patients with access to a range of pediatric and adult primary care services, along with women’s health services, and specialty care services such as cardiology and endocrinology. COVID-19 vaccines are available for patients who are 5 years of age and older at the new location. The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) food assistance program is also on-site. The comprehensive patient care team includes bilingual Spanish-speaking staff members, as well, to better serve patients in the neighboring communities.
