The Salvation Army North and Central Illinois Division, in partnership with Rush University Medical Center, will host a no-cost back-to-school health fair at the Salvation Army Freedom Center, 825 N. Christiana Ave., which will provide exams, sports physicals, vision, hearing, dental exams, and vaccinations. The event will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10a.m. Parents and guardians must register by 12:30 p.m. and bring the child’s vaccination records. The event, co-sponsored by RU Caring, The Chicago Department of Public Health, and The Salvation Army Freedom Center, will also feature school supply give-a-aways, while supplies last, and games.
