The Chicago Park District announces the Notice of Availability (NOA) for concession operations in parks citywide.  The goal of the concessions program is to provide the highest possible quality and variety of foods, commodities and services, while enhancing the experiences of park visitors across the city. Concessions also provide comfort and convenience to patrons at reasonable prices, while serving as an important revenue source for the Park District. As part of the concession opportunities, the Park District’s Focus Community Area Pilot Program will support local commerce and entrepreneurs seeking to develop their business endeavors in parks located in Chicago’s South/West Side neighborhoods.  The pilot program also aims to uplift businesses and bring them into communities in need of amenities by reducing or eliminating some fees and costs in an effort to create more opportunities for emerging vendors. The Park District is open to creative concession concepts and there are a range of possibilities from cooking on site, selling pre-packaged food, or selling non-cooked products.   To access the NOA, please visit www.parkconcessions.com. All applications must be submitted online, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022.
