The Resurrection Project (TRP) on Tuesday celebrated the grand opening of their new rental housing, Casa Durango, 1858 S. Racine Ave., a 53-unit multifamily affordable housing development across two properties: 1858 S. Racine Avenue (37 units) and 2010 S. Ashland Avenue (16 units). TRP broke ground in September 2020 and the buildings were completed in Fall 2022. The 53 units are for households earning 30 percent to 60 percent Area Median Income (AMI) – between $27,950 and $55,920 annual income for a family of four (2022 Income Limits.) Tours of units will be available.  The Resurrection Project (TRP) builds trusting relationships to educate and propel individuals, immigrants, and families to achieve their social and economic aspirations, stable homes, and equitable participation in their community. Since 1990, TRP has leveraged an initial $30,000 investment into $641M in community wealth created and preserved. TRP is a leading provider of affordable housing, financial education, and immigration services on Chicago’s Southwest side.
