Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital will host an employment fair on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held in the Building 9 Auditorium at Hines VA’s Main Hospital campus – 5000 S. 5th Ave., Hines, IL 60141. Federal employment positions are available throughout the hospital and six outpatient clinics. Each quarter, Hines VA Hospital will place special emphasis on key vacant positions, although applicants are encouraged to reach out about other vacancies. This quarter’s special emphasis is for:

• Advanced Medical Support Assistant

• Medical Support Assistant

• Nursing Assistants

• Healthcare Technicians

• Licensed Practical Nurses

Hines VA representatives will be available to answer questions. Applications will be accepted, and on-the-spot interviews will be available for select positions. Applicants must bring a current resume and two references.
