Community Savings Bank Celebrates Omaira Guevara’s 25th Anniversary

Omaira Guevara celebrated her 25th anniversary at Community Savings Bank on Friday, Sept. 1st. She is one of Community’s bilingual employees and is now a member of the group who have worked at the bank for 25 years or more. The day was celebrated with a cake and well wishes from her fellow employees. Omaira started her career with Community in 1998, shortly after having her daughter. A friend who worked at the bank told her about an open position as a cashier. She applied for the job and was quickly hired. In 1998, Ms. Guevara moved to the accounting department where she helped manage the operation of bank’s ATM systems. Over the last 25 years, she has also worked as a teller supervisor, drive-thru supervisor and as an important part of the new accounts department. She is currently Community’s IRA supervisor and also serves as savings counselor. Guevara is very knowledgeable about Direct to Mexico wires, bond issues and redemptions and money orders.
