Rick Cerda has been appointed Casa Central’s new Chief Financial Officer. Cerda joins Casa Central from Salo, a Korn Ferry company—a talent firm focused on finance, accounting, and human resources. Cerda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At Crowe Horwath and E&Y, he counseled private and Fortune 500 companies for thirteen years. Cerda has advised clients on complex issues involving the SEC, technical accounting standards, and regulatory trends. A leader in ALPFA (the Association of Latino Professionals for America) and recipient of numerous awards, he has been profiled in Crain’s Chicago Business Magazine, Insight Magazine, and NPR. Highly qualified in Finance and Accounting, Cerda’s experience and skills are as diverse as Strategic Planning and Business Leadership, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Reduction and Process Improvement, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Strategy implementation and more. “Rick’s extensive experience in finance and accounting, coupled with his leadership in the non-profit sector, make him a tremendous addition to Casa Central’s leadership team,” stated Martin R.
