Rick Cerda has been appointed Casa Central’s new Chief Financial Officer. Cerda joins Casa Central from Salo, a Korn Ferry company—a talent firm focused on finance, accounting, and human resources. Cerda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At Crowe Horwath and E&Y, he counseled private and Fortune 500 companies for thirteen years. Cerda has advised clients on complex issues involving the SEC, technical accounting standards, and regulatory trends. A leader in ALPFA (the Association of Latino Professionals for America) and recipient of numerous awards, he has been profiled in Crain’s Chicago Business Magazine, Insight Magazine, and NPR.
