Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton hosted Latina businesswomen and business owners for tea and conversation to listen and learn from their experiences and to uplift the important contributions of Latinas in business to Illinois’ vibrancy. “I was thrilled to sit down and talk with Latina women in business who are making a difference in Illinois and beyond. These women have paved the way for the next generation of hardworking women and the Latino community across our state,” said Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton.  “Our diversity is our strength and by listening to the wisdom in the room, we can create a more equitable and economic future.”  The event provided an opportunity to meet with Latina women from hospitality to construction and learn about the challenges they face as entrepreneurs and business leaders. The ongoing “Tea with the LG” series seeks to uplift Illinois’ diverse communities and learn how the Office of the Lt. Governor can better serve the people of Illinois.
