On April 14th, Citibank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony the grand opening of its new Hyde Park branch, 1428 E. 53rd St., welcoming local community leaders, nonprofit organizations, clients, and Citi colleagues. Featuring a state-of-the-art 3,140-square-foot open floor plan, the branch offers Citi’s full range of personal banking, small business, lending, and wealth services in a modern, flexible, and client-focused environment. “We are thrilled to be deepening our commitment to the Hyde Park community. This branch, along with our other new location in Jeffery Manor, highlights our strong dedication to this area,” said Central Southeast Region Head for the Branch Network at Citi Ed Patterson. The space is designed to support deeper engagement with the community by hosting financial education workshops on home-buying, small business, and credit building to promote financial wellness. “We are proud to work with institutions like Citi that are choosing to grow in Chicago and provide services and support to those communities that stand testament to the vibrancy of every neighborhood,” said Max Budovitch, Chicago’s deputy mayor of business, economic, and neighborhood.
