Get Ready to Become a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Controller

The public is invited to learn more and apply to become an FAA air traffic controller.  FAA staff will be available at Olive-Harvey College, 10001 S. Woodlawn Ave., to help the public complete their application and answer questions on Friday, April 17 from 9am to 2pm. 
Who is Eligible:

• Be a U.S. citizen

• Be under age 31 on the job announcement’s closing date

• Be willing to relocate to an air traffic facility based on the FAA’s highest needs at the time

• Speak English clearly enough to be understood over communications equipment

• Have one year of work experience, or a bachelor’s degree, or a combination of post-secondary education and work experience that totals one year

• Pass the FAA pre-employment skills assessment

• Pass medical exam and security Investigation
