The People’s Republic of China claims to be neutral in the Russia-Ukraine War. The Chinese government claims that they can negotiate a peaceful resolution to the conflict. But none of this is true. It has been reported that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army had been secretly training some of Russia’s elite divisions. It has been learned that Russia’s drones have Chinese parts, and that the Chinese government has bought Russian bonds to keep the Russian economy on life support. China is not only not neutral, but has been helping Russia all along to try and win the war against Ukraine. The fact that Russia’s armed forces are overall incompetent has simply given China a headache.
In an effort to help Iran replenish its drone arsenal, Russia has given Iran components to make their drones. But the parts in fact came from China. Yet another example of China playing a three dimensional chess game. Meanwhile, Iran has been able to get oil and other resources to China via rail to maintain its industries and also provide some rare earth mineral resources. China in fact controls over 90 percent of the world’s rare earth mineral manufacturing. These rare earth minerals are needed for everything from our electronic equipment to our military hardware. The fact that China has a near-monopoly on all of this is terrifying. Yet this is not in a lot of U.S. news sources.
Chinese Premier Xi Jinping has played U.S. President Donald Trump like a puppet. Essentially Trump got snubbed by Xi, and Xi has made it clear that he intends to take Taiwan and that there is nothing the United States can do about it. He made this clear to Trump’s face, and worse China has begun a trade offensive whereby he is trying to present China as a “reasonable” alternative to Trump. He seems to be succeeding. This is terrifying because Canada and the European Union do not see that China is setting up an economic web whereby he can make these two trading blocs dependent on China and this will make it easier for China to isolate Taiwan. I find it sad and disgusting that Trump and all of the European and Canadian leaders are playing right into China’s hand. As much as I despise him, Xi Jinping is the ultimate puppet master.
