Grab your “pack” and end your week on the wild side with Lincoln Park Zoo’s newest family-friendly event, Family Fun Fur-idays on June 12 and July 31. Lincoln Park Zoo will stay open late on select Fridays this summer for kiddos and their grown-ups to make memories from drop-in improv workshops with The Second City, to an “instrument safari” hosted by We Rock! Chicago there is fun for all ages. Whether your troop wants to learn about Chicago’s favorite lovebirds – the piping plovers -, your flock wants to test their improv skills, or your herd prefers to lounge on the South Lawn, this laid-back evening is meant to offer the best of Chicago summer in a safe, relaxed environment. For a limited time, Lincoln Park Zoo is offering one free child ticket with a purchase of an adult ticket at checkout. To learn more or register, visit lpzoo.org.
