Brookfield Zoo Chicago is celebrating America 250 throughout Fourth of July weekend with family-friendly activities, special promotions and opportunities to learn about some of North America’s most iconic wildlife species. Guests can explore Great Bear Wilderness to see bald eagles, bison and brown bears then swing by The Swamp to visit North American river otters, American flamingos, Blanding’s turtles and more. The Zoo’s America 250 celebration will be highlighted by:

• A special $2.50 general admission for kids (ages 3-11) on Saturday, July 4

• An expanded Zoo Chat schedule featuring iconic North American species and conservation stories

• A free bald eagle craft at Hamill Family Play Zoo and additional patriotic-themed activities
