The Little Village Chamber of Commerce (LVCC) on Tuesday announced Telemundo Chicago (WSNS-TV 44) will return as the exclusive broadcasting partner of this year’s 55th Annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade delivering expert coverage to television and digital audiences across the region. For the fourth-straight year, this year’s parade will air live on Telemundo Chicago and Telemundo Chicago / NBC 5 Chicago digital platforms on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade is one of the largest celebrations of Mexican heritage and culture in the Midwest, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators each year to Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. The live broadcast and digital stream will feature parade coverage alongside performances, floats, and cultural showcases that celebrate Mexican heritage and the contributions of the Little Village community to the city of Chicago.
