We kick off Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15th) celebrating the cultural richness of the Hispanic/Latino communities with an array of vibrant events. Throughout the month we will honor the rich culture, history, and important contributions of the Hispanic, Latinos to the United States, especially Chicago. This year’s theme is “Unidos, Somos Mas: Together, We Are More” to highlight the unity, and resilience of the Latino communities, proving true amid challenging times between the Latino community and immigration enforcement agents. This week, we highlight cultural programming occurring across Chicagoland and in the weeks to come we will place a spotlight on individuals showcasing the importance of unity to their community.
Destinos Chicago International Latino Theater Festival

Where Memory Lives: 40 Years of Día de Muertos
