For nearly 40 years, Lincoln Square Apple Fest has transformed Lincoln Avenue into Chicago’s favorite fall street party, celebrating the Midwest harvest with food, farms, shopping, live entertainment, and seasonal traditions. This year, the festival is turning up the flavor with a playful lineup of one-of-a-kind apple dishes crafted exclusively for Apple Fest weekend.  With more than 100 vendors, visitors can explore a wide range of food, drinks, and fall treats. The apple fest will include live entertainment, and the 15th annual Pooch Costume Contest on October 3rd. Pre-registration is required for the Pooch Costume Contest. The Lincoln Square Apple Fest takes place on Lincoln Avenue between Lawrence and Sunnyside. Festival hours are Friday, Oct. 2nd, 3pm to 7pm.; Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 9am to 6pm; and Sunday, Oct. 4th, 9am to 6pm. Admission is a $5 suggested donation.
