Malcolm X College and City Colleges of Chicago to Name Center after U.S. congressman Danny K. Davis

Malcolm X College (MXC) and City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) are proud to announce the official naming ceremony of a brand-new community center at Malcolm X College West Campus (MXCW), its satellite campus, after The Honorable U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis for his decades of support for City Colleges of Chicago, Malcolm X College and residents of Chicago’s West Side. Malcolm X College West Campus’ Community Center will be named in honor of Congressman Danny K. Davis for his tireless work in ensuring that Malcolm X College and Malcolm X College West Campus students and communities receive the best education, facilities, funding and enriching educational experiences that they need and deserve. The $17.5 million investment expands the Malcolm X College West Campus, which was formerly known as the West Side Learning Center. The project adds 3,000 square feet to the campus for training and learning.
