Pilsen Neighbors Community Council (PNCC), will host its upcoming 15th Driver’s License Reinstatement Expo (DLRE) on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Malcolm X College from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event provides Cook County residents with free legal assistance to help restore suspended or revoked Illinois driver’s licenses. The DLRE connects participants with volunteer attorneys who explain why driving privileges were suspended or revoked and outline clear steps to resolve holds and qualify for reinstatement. Driving on a suspended or revoked license is a criminal offense in Illinois and often results in deeper court involvement, fines, and barriers to employment. The Driver’s License Reinstatement Expo is made possible through partnerships with the Illinois Secretary of State, the Cook County Public Defender’s Office, Cook County Clerk, Cook County Circuit Court, Malcolm X College, and others. To register for the expo, visit www.pilsenneighbors.org/dlre
