On Wednesday, with two weeks until Election Day, Governor JB Pritzker joined local elected officials and candidates in Cook, Kane, and McHenry counties to rally voters, thank volunteers, and encourage everyone to get out and vote. Gov. Pritzker joined State Representative Suzanne Ness and Michele Clark, candidate for Illinois State Senate, at a canvass launch in East Dundee. Gov. Pritzker spoke to volunteers before knocking doors in Cary, Illinois. Gov. Pritzker then spoke at an event in Palatine in support of Democrats in the Northwest suburbs. He was joined by State Representative Nabeela Syed; Jenny Levin and Maria Peterson, candidates for Illinois House of Representatives; and Carina Santa Maria, candidate for Illinois State Senate. “Election Day is just two weeks away, and everything we care about is on the line,” said Governor JB Pritzker. “Here in Illinois, we’ve lowered prescription drug costs, expanded workers’ rights, eliminated the state grocery tax, and enshrined abortion rights into law. Darren Bailey and MAGA extremists want to reverse all of that, and we can’t let it happen. We’ve got to give it everything we have in this final stretch.”
