In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, State Senator Omar Aquino is partnering with the Illinois Department of Central Management Services to host a State Career and Resource Fair. All members of the community interested in employment with the state are invited to attend. The State Career and Resource Fair will be hosted on Monday, Sept. 22 from 3-7 p.m. at Wright College Humboldt Park, located at 1645 N. California Ave. The event is in collaboration with State Representatives Eva-Dina Delgado and Lilian Jiménez. State career counselors will be onsite to assist with applications. Free headshots will be available for the first 100 participants and lunch will be available while supplies last.
