Ballet Folklórico de Chicago proudly presents Tradiciones de Navidad, a vibrant folkloric performance that brings to life Mexico’s beloved Christmas traditions through dance, music, and a contemporary Pastorela (nativity play). Now in its third year, Tradiciones de Navidad has become a beloved Chicago holiday tradition. The 2025 performance will take audiences on a journey across Mexico, from northern deserts to southern jungles, illuminating the themes of family, faith, and resilience that define the season. With colorful costumes, dynamic choreography, and heartfelt storytelling, the production reflects the beauty and strength of Chicago’s Latino community.
