In celebration of the Spring Equinox, the most balanced day of the year, Friends of the Forest Preserves and Love of Living Kindness will host Spring Equinox: A Celebration of New Beginnings on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Eggers Grove Comfort Station, 11251–11249 S Ave B in Chicago. The free community open house will bring together families, youth, and community members for a morning of nature, storytelling, and wellness activities focused on renewal, mental health, and the arrival of spring. Attendees will enjoy nutritious snacks, a guided nature walk, and programming designed to inspire reflection, connection, and growth.
