Free Bilingual Health Education Seminar for the Community

The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, in partnership with the Latino Surgical Society, is hosting the Annual Latino Surgical Society Symposium, with surgeons from the U.S. and abroad sharing their medical research on Latino health. There is a free community health education seminar on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Center for Cancer Discovery, 5700 S. Maryland Ave. Free parking and lunch will be provided. This free, bilingual event is open to the community and will feature presentations and Q&A led by UChicago experts on cancer prevention and early detection.  The event has limited capacity.
