This highly energized and successful program showcases outstanding singers, musicians, and dancers throughout the Americas. Creators Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Jamie King made it their mission to uncover the talent of aspiring artists and change perceptions along the way. “This is a passion project on so many levels. It’s really our dream to see it come together. I believe that people will be so enlightened, so enriched by this experience,” said Jennifer Lopez during teleconference late last month.

For artists such as, Hermanos Castros, Ashanty, and Swing Latino, Q’Viva! The Chosen is much more than just a talent show. It is a way for outsiders to explore a different side of their native country and witness their journey to the top. Hermanos Castros, Ashanty, and Swing Latino shared what they are looking forward to the most about sharing their story on Q’Viva! The Chosen.

“It was truly a blessing to have Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony visit Honduras and see firsthand the beauty that is my native country. This show gives viewers an opportunity to witness another side of Honduras and not what it portrayed on television. There is endless talent here and a lot of passion. Dancing is my passion, my way of life. I am able to share my story through my dance.”

Hermanos Castro (Mexico)
“We are extremely excited to show the world what we have been working hard for. Dancing has always been something we enjoyed since we were little and it shows the minute we perform. A program like Q’Viva!, gives artists, like us, a platform to highlight the best our country has to offer.”

Swing Latino (Colombia)
“This is truly our moment to shine. We want to give the audience a different taste of the Salsa we know here in Colombia. Q’Viva gave us a chance to demonstrate our passion and commitment for the art of dancing. We are really thankful and excited for everyone to join along on our journey.”

Do not forget to tune in to Q’Viva! The Chosen on Univision.
