ComEd representatives joined the Village of University Park and other area organizations at a free, in-person resource fair on March 31st, designed to provide residents with access to a variety of support services—including assistance with utility bills, housing, healthcare, employment, and education. The goal of the fair was to bring comprehensive support services directly to individuals and families impacted by rising energy supply costs, driven by supply-demand imbalances affecting nearly half of energy bills. ComEd does not control supply prices, and these costs are passed on without profit to ComEd. In addition to energy-bill assistance, residents can access health services as well as support for children and families. Hundreds of University Park-area residents are expected to attend the village’s event.
