The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) announced the 2026 Chi Food Truck Fest season will begin on Friday, May 15 at Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington Street. The popular lunchtime event will take place every Friday until October 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The fest, now in its 11th year, showcases Chicago’s rich culinary culture with a weekly rotating lineup of food trucks. It has become a downtown summer tradition, drawing crowds from all over the city to sample a variety of cuisines from Chicago’s food truck operators. To learn more, visit Chicago.gov/FoodTruckFest. The Chi Food Truck Fest is sponsored and organized by BACP.
