The Adler Planetarium, 1300 S. DuSable Lake Shore Dr., is inviting Chicagoans to welcome summer with a one-of-a-kind yoga experience right on Museum Campus. On Sunday, June 21, at 8a.m., guests can celebrate the summer solstice (the longest day of the year) with an outdoor vinyasa yoga class on the Adler’s Sundial Plaza, featuring sweeping views of the Chicago skyline and lakefront. Blending wellness and science, Solstice Yoga offers participants a chance to connect with the season while honoring the day when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky. This limited-capacity event is open to all experience levels, from first-time yogis to seasoned practitioners. The cost is $25 per person. Tickets go on sale virtually beginning June 10th.
