A Cicero man is charged with four felonies as a result of a crash that killed two women. David Barajas, 21, appeared in court on Friday after being charged with two counts of reckless homicide and two counts of aggravated driving under the influence causing death. The accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on June 25 in the 5000 block of West Ogden Avenue in Cicero. An investigation determined that Despina Vrettos, 27, of Cicero, entered Ogden Avenue from 50th Court when her vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Barajas. A passenger in her vehicle, Lesly Guevara, 25, of Cicero, died at the scene. Vrettos was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, but died as a result of her injuries on June 27. After a Friday hearing at Cook County Circuit Court in Maywood, Barajas was released on bond. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 4 in Maywood.
