Enjoy the final days of summer and learn more about the natural world with the Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum for the seventh annual Bugapalooza on August 21st. From invertebrate crafts to bee observations, there is plenty of exciting activity suited for guests of all ages. The Nature Museum’s invertebrate residents will be on display for up-close and personal encounters during this educational, family-friendly event. Test your insect knowledge at the Museum’s Bug Zoo and discover aquatic critters alongside Museum scientists. Enjoy a guided bug walk on Museum grounds, as well as make one-of-a-kind souvenirs with bug-related crafts and insect pinning demonstrations. Bugapalooza will take place Friday, Aug. 21st from 5:30p.m., to 7:30p.m., at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Dr. Admission is $15 for non-member adults; $10 for non-member children ages 3-12.
