Purple Group, an award-winning strategic marketing communications and advertising firm that leverages its cultural expertise in the Hispanic, multicultural and total markets, was named “Member of the Year” by the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) at its 25th Anniversary Gala celebration held October 29 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Chicago. IHCC is the largest community of Hispanic business owners in Illinois and the Midwest. “Entrepreneurship plays a key role in the growth of our community and is one of the critical building blocks of healthy and sustainable neighborhoods,” said Laritza Lopez, President and Founder of Purple Group. “We are grateful for this recognition from IHCC and take pride in supporting the chamber’s efforts to engage entrepreneurs in order to build a strong and thriving community.

IHCC presented the Member of the Year award to Purple Group for its exceptional leadership and dedication to the Hispanic business community, as well as the agency’s commitment to supporting local nonprofit organizations. The IHCC gala celebrated 25 years of leadership, advocacy, networking and development in the Hispanic community. IHCC leadership shared their vision for the future and recognized extraordinary leaders as it looks to build and expand its regional presence.
