The American Red Cross of Chicago & Northern Illinois announced Joy Squier as the Regional Chief Communications and Marketing Officer to promote the organization’s humanitarian services and programs across the 21-county region. She will report to the Chief Executive Officer Celena Roldán. Squier is a seasoned marketing and communications executive who will oversee traditional and social media relations, government affairs, events marketing and programs, and internal communications for the organization. Trained in disaster communications and public affairs, Squier is a national spokesperson for the American Red Cross. Previously, Squier served as Director of Field Marketing for the Top Ten Regions of the American Red Cross, where she oversaw the planning and development of integrated marketing and communications strategies and programs. Squier holds an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and is a graduate of the University of Illinois, with a degree in Advertising. She is a resident of Elmhurst, Illinois.
