12th ward-Alderman George Cardenas hosts his 13th Annual Back to School/Health Fair on August 27th, 2016 at McKinley Park Field house, 2210 W. Pershing from 10 am till 2 pm. The fair includes free inoculations, physicals, dental exams and health tests from over 60 vendors. Students will receive some school supplies as well as free lunch from McDonald’s. This is the most comprehensive fair allowing parents to get their kids off to a healthy and prepared start to the new school year. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and shot record must be present. The alderman expects over 1,000 attendees.
