Chicago Police Board President Ghian Foreman announced that the application for the position of Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department is now available on the Police Board’s website at ChicagoPoliceBoard.org. An essential part of the search process will be a series of listening sessions the Board will hold across the City.  Schedule of Upcoming Listening Sessions

• Monday, December 9, Trinity United Church of Christ, 400 West 95th Street

• Wednesday, December 11, Muslim Community Center, 4380 North Elston Avenue

• Thursday, December 12, JLM Community Center, 2622 West Jackson Boulevard

• All sessions will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

Prospective candidates will have until Monday, January 13, to apply for the position. Following a thorough review of all applications, the Board will conduct in-depth interviews of the best-qualified candidates. The Board will then nominate three finalists for the position to the Mayor. The names of the three nominees that the Board submits to the Mayor will be made public.
