The insanely talented, Mexican actress, producer and writer, Patricia Maya is ready to kick off another season of Real Rob, the highly popular Netflix Original comedy series starring her real life husband, Rob Schneider. “It truly is a dream come true that we are able to create a show that somewhat parodies our life in a humorous fun way,” said Maya. Maya is the co-creator, one of the head writers and the lead actress opposite her husband, actor/comedian Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Saturday Night Live) and stand-up comedian Jamie Lissow (Red Eye with Tom Shillue, Last Comic Standing). Real Rob is a series based on Rob Schneider’s personal and professional life, which includes his family, wife Patricia Maya and his daughters. Season one is currently available on Netflix and because of its huge success, the leader of online entertainment ordered a second season that is set to premiere this summer and promises to be even funnier than the first. In this second season, Patricia Maya’s character will be developed and evolves much more, adopting her own outrageous entertaining storylines. “This second season is very special to me. It was a big challenge because I had to divide my time to write along with my time being a full-time mom to my beautiful daughter while I was pregnant with my second daughter. But thanks to my parents and my husband Rob’s support, it was possible to achieve. I hope that people enjoy this second season as much as I enjoyed playing the character of Patricia through her evolution and the new situations that the show presents,” said Maya. Maya is a passionate advocate for living a healthy lifestyle through exercise and a nutritious diet, and hopes to become a role model that educates and inspires people to lead a healthy life. Without a doubt, though, her biggest passion is being a mom to her two beautiful daughters with Rob Schneider.
