The National Latino Education Institute, (NLEI) is a not-for-profit community service agency that was founded in 1972. The organization evolved from an advocacy group, formed in the late 1960’s, to a provider of quality employment training and placement services with a mission to advance the community’s economic independence through market and results driven education, training, employment, and advocacy. NLEI is currently enrolling for the following programs: The Medical Office Specialist (MOS) and The NLEI ENERGIA Project.

The Medical Office Specialist (MOS) program prepares graduates to work in entry-level positions in a variety of healthcare office jobs such as medical office assistant, administrative assistance, insurance billing, medical transcriber, and medical records clerk. The 40-week program will prepare graduates for a professional job in the healthcare industry.

The NLEI ENERGIA PROJECT Workshop provides participants with solid foundational industry knowledge and technical knowledge and technical skills for successful entry into energy occupations and fields. This program is open at no cost to students.
